Asta is a stout drop-eared Skye Terrier. He has a dark purple nose and light purple tongue. His long light golden fur completely covers his paws and his long ears covered up his dark gray eyes. He also has a medium-sized bushy tail.
While celebrating Independence Day, Asta wore a rosette on his left ear. The rosette has a red and white ruffle, a blue central badge, and two blue and white ribbon strands. The rosette is identical to the one Professor Pascal wore on his jacket.
