Boo Energy is a powerful energy that can empower ghosts by allowing them to enter booster mode, granting them the power to cause even more chaos across New York.
Some of Miss Jones' advanced technology also uses Boo Energy as a power source to help stop wild ghosts. These objects use the boo force of the wild ghosts the Ghostforce captured, to attack others with such power.
Description
Ghosts can generate their own Boo Energy by scaring people or by using their powers on too many civilians. Once a ghost has amassed enough Boo Energy it will enter booster mode; an enhanced state of greater size and power. If there is a way to revert the civilians back to the way they were before the ghost used it's powers on them, then the ghost may undermine/lose most of it's power(s) and becomes weaker.
Miss Jones created an advanced technology that can apparently charge an object with Boo Energy. Another one of her related creations involves an Android, who needs this specific energy to function and use it's powers. Because this Android is about the size of a human teenager, she invented a large capsule for it to stay in to be able to get re-charged.
A team of special superheroes, known as the Ghostforce, also has this energy bonded with their suits. This fully powers their suits and allows them to access all sorts of powers and even generate their own special weapons. It can also warm the suit wearer if they are too cold. The Boo Energy in the suit is limited, however; if they use their powers too much, the energy will run out and they will be powerless.

- Ghostforce's weapons — The Ghostforce needs Boo Energy to power some of the advanced weapons, they use on their missions to help defeat the wild ghosts. Like the Ghostforce's suits, they are powered by the specific variants of the boo power, that is known as "Flexi-Energy", "Spectral-Energy", & "Fractal-Energy".
- Miss Jones - During serious situations, such as the heatwave of Pharaok's, Miss Jones relies on Boo Energy to stay focused and sharp, unless otherwise is extremely dazed and weakened.
- Glups — Like Miss Jones, during serious situations such as the heatwave of Pharaok's, Glups also relies on Boo Energy to stay focused and sharp, unless otherwise is extremely dazed and weakened.

- Glowboo's capsule — An orange capsule Miss Jones created for Glowboo to stay in until it is fully re-charged and ready to fight the wild ghosts of New York City.
- Liv's battery (boo power battery) — A battery owned by Liv who wanted to hand it out to Mike due to ruining his science project. But in the end, Miss Jones charges it with Boo Energy to use it in the Ghostforce's case of emergency of being shrunk by a ghost and having almost zero bars of Boo Energy.

Trivia
- In a now deleted scene of "Pharaok", after Pharaok flies away, the Ghostforce trio are suddenly re-charged with Boo Energy.
- This means that originally, Boo Energy was able to re-charged if a ghost presence isn't near, but the idea was later scrapped with a different one.
- Interestingly, some ghosts can weaken their own kinds or other creatures who has Boo Energy by using their own powers.
- In "Pharaok", the heat wave that the ghost caused made the Ghostforce trio lose a bar of Boo Energy quickly, and Miss Jones and Flubby to stay in the Boo fridge due to loss of Boo Energy if outside.
- In "Mikroo", Fury and Krush lose two bars of Boo Energy because Micro had shrunk them prior to transformation.
- In "Katastroph", Fury loses two bars of Boo Energy due to Katastroph's orange blast, which has the power to remove boo power from an opponent.
- It's currently unknown how Boo Energy was created and how Miss Jones discovers it which causes her to become half-ghost.
- Intangibility is the only power the Ghostforce possess that does not relies on any kind of boo powers.
