Trivia
- As revealed by Ypsilon Films, this special was originally planned to be the first to be released, but it was replaced with "Grump King".[3]
- This special would reveal how the three kids formed the second iteration of the Ghostforce.
- This is going to be the very first TV special that SAMG Animation doesn't animate.
- On June 15, 2023, Jeremy Zag posted a production screenshot of an unnamed cartoon-type ghost on his Instagram. However, it's currently unconfirmed if that was a screenshot for the special or an unreleased episode that was produced before the series switched animation style.[4]
- On November 20, 2025, Jeremy Zag posted a concept art that heavily implies it is related to this special.[5]
- The caption revealed that the Baker family was from Los Angeles, California, before moving to Manhattan, New York City.
- Because the concept art was revealed after the announcement that the series would now be animated with Epic's Unreal Engine instead of Autodesk Maya, it's likely the special is part of Season 2 instead of the first season when it was initially announced.
- It is noted that the ISAN database listed every single episode of Season 1 by production code, but "155" is currently missing. So, it's unknown if the special was part of the Season 1 production order before it got changed to Season 2.
- The caption also revealed that the special would premiere soon exclusively on Netflix.
- Even though it isn't released yet, the official Ghostforce website revealed a lot of information on the character biographies that are likely to be seen in the special.[6]
- The Ghostforce was active around a decade ago, and it originally consisted of Miss Jones and her partner Carpenter. After a run-in with Nolan Kasenti that involved an unnamed chaos-type ghost, the team was disbanded because of Carpenter's disappearance and Miss Jones becoming a half-ghost.
- Mike used to only be called by his nickname "Junior" before the Baker siblings joined his class.
- Liv has been interested in learning about ghosts ever since she was little.
- Andy was protective of his sister, but Liv wanted to prove to him that she could handle taking care of herself.
- Drake Miller became Andy's rival on the first day of school because he was jealous of the latter's basketball skills.
- The reason Charlie created the Ghost Blog was to investigate the whereabouts of the original Ghostforce, while learning about the second iteration of the team.
- The three kids somehow met Miss Jones and managed to convince her to let them replace her as new members of the Ghostforce when ghosts haunted New York City again.
- The Ghostforce TFOU trailer revealed that Andy and Liv were both new students at the NYC school where they met Mike in Professor Pascal's class.
