Trivia
- Jeremy Zag referred to the second season as Ghostforce Evolution on an Instagram caption. While it's unclear if this title is exclusively for this season, "evolution" holds a lot of significant meanings.
- Much like the sixth season of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, the second season of Ghostforce would be animated with Epic's Unreal Engine instead of Autodesk Maya. Instead of outsourcing the animation to SAMG Animation like the first season, the episodes will now have to be animated in France.
- A few concept art revealed that the Ghostforce's powers are going to evolve, such as Fury obtaining the ability to transform his entire body into flexi slime.
- Because the series has elements that were inspired by Pokémon, the new title might be a reference to Pokémon Evolution.
- "Evolution" can also refer to how ghosts can evolve their forms into booster mode after consuming enough fears from humans.
- The concept art that was posted alongside the new title featured the Baker family at a beach in Los Angeles before they moved to New York City. Assuming it was created for the Origins special, which took place chronologically at the beginning of the series, Andy and Liv not only learned how to adapt in the new city but also started their new life as superheroes.
