| “ | See, ghosts feed on fear. And the fear inside these balls is quantified to the nearest scream. | ” |
—Miss Jones, "Jellyjack" | ||
Scaryballs is a Boo Technology invented by Miss Jones to feed Glups and presumably other ghosts living in the underground laboratory.
Appearance
Scaryballs are designed to resemble medium-sized dark gray spheres with the Ghostforce emblem at the front. They come in five secondary colors; blue, yellow, red, green, and pink.
Features
As seen in the computer interface, the scaryballs are filled with human fears that can be quantified to the nearest scream. While it's unknown how Miss Jones collected these fears to store them inside the scaryballs, the screams are converted into energy for ghosts to ingest.

Trivia
- The scaryballs have a similar physical appearance as meatballs, which Glowboo implemented to the Valentine's Day dinner he served for Miss Jones and Glups in "Rozamour".
- In "Jellyjack", the scaryballs are stored in a blaster that Miss Jones would fire around the lab for Glups to chase after his meal. Liv Baker accidentally dropped the blaster into the garage, but it's presumed Miss Jones later retrieved it after the team captured Glups to restore him to his tamed state.
- Miss Jones invented the scaryballs as food for the ghosts since they would get hungry without ingesting people's fear. The wild ghosts that were captured by the Ghostforce, in particular, are stored inside the Ghost Cloud, so Miss Jones must feed them before they can be used as fuel for other Boo Technology gadgets.
- Glups is currently the only known ghost to be seen eating the scaryballs.
- According to Miss Jones, she can only feed Glups a small amount of scaryballs to prevent the risk of him going to booster mode if he ingests enough fear.
