ghostforce

I can't believe all these gadgets came from your imagination! I'd love to invent something.

Mike Collins, "Jellystery"

Boo Technology is a series of weapons and gadgets invented by Miss Jones (and formerly Carpenter) for the Ghostforce. A majority of them are run on a ghost's Boo Energy.

Description

While it is unclear what was the first Boo Technology gadget invented, Miss Jones and Carpenter are implied to be the first humans to discover Boo Energy and learned that it can be used to neutralize a ghost's powers. Any solid objects won't be able to directly harm a ghost because of its intangible body being able to phase through them. So, the pair began developing Boo Technology that can allow them to fight and capture ghosts who have been haunting Manhattan. Most of the gadgets they invented are modeled after regular human objects and are fueled with a ghost's Boo Energy.

Ever since the incident that led to Carpenter's capture by the unidentified ghost with multiple powers, Miss Jones is currently the only active member of the Ghostforce to still develop Boo Technology. She would invent gadgets to deal with her current half-ghost handicap and test out experiments during her self-isolation in the underground laboratory. However, after the second iteration of the Ghostforce was formed, she would also create new weapons for the team.

Miss Jones currently has a collection of gadgets being displayed in the lab's training room. Whenever a member wants to use a gadget, they can select it from the supercomputer and pick a specific ghost to fuel it with Boo Energy. The gadget would then manifest itself from a teleportation device and transform into a small container that can allow easy transfer and storage. The container has a symbol at the front that represent the gadget's abilities, such as a sun representing the Ghost Lighter being powered by Solarboo's Boo Energy. If a member wants to open the container, they would press a button at the bottom. If a gadget is being delivered during a mission, it would be placed onto the teleportation device and downloaded into an active Ghostforce medallion.

List of Boo Technology objects

Object First appearance Description Image
Ghostphones "Bananice" Four portable telephones that the team can make and receive calls. Miss Jones invented the ghostphones for the second iteration of the Ghostforce to reach her instead of using their cellphones, presumably to avoid being tracked by Nolan Kasenti. The ghostphones can also be used to collect Boo Energy samples for analysis.
Ghostforce medallions Four medallions fueled by a tamed ghost's Boo Energy that can allow their respective wearers to transform into their Ghostforce armor. Jinjoke 076
Ghostforce armors Protective suits that the Ghostforce would wear whenever they are out to hunt ghosts in Manhattan. Some of the armor's features include built-in comm-links, Boo Map, Boo Cap storage, and a temperature dialer. Glowboo is an artificial intelligence that was stored in an orange Ghostforce armor. There are three extra pairs of boots, two chest armor, and four helmets being displayed in the training room. Scream Scratch 280
Fractal Mace A double-headed mace that is fueled by Growmax's Boo Energy. It is primarily wielded by Krush. Krik-Krok 205

Supercomputers "Trashotic" Three interconnected supercomputers that store information related to the Ghostforce, such as a large database about different ghost specimens and their Boo Energy signature. There is a supercomputer in each room of the lab so Miss Jones can supervise the second iteration of the Ghostforce during their mission.
Unnamed Boo Energy recharging table A table is where the Ghostforce would charge the three medallions that belong to Andy, Liv, and Mike. Sometimes it is used for other purposes, such as a game board for ghost chess or an oven for baking desserts. The Boo Map can also be displayed on the top surface of the table. Dinozos 161
Ghost Cloud A giant cage that stores ghosts after they are captured by the Ghostforce. Glougloux 277
Boo Compost A mixture of green-colored Boo Energy tubes that Miss Jones used as plant fertilizer. Trashotic 248
Ghostforce lockers "Pharaok" Three lockers from the NYC school that are secret entrances to the underground laboratory. Andy, Liv, and Mike must get inside the locker and presumably use their medallions to activate the slides so they can enter the lab. Ghostforce Locker Ritual - Team 006
Boo Fridge A refrigerator where Miss Jones presumably preserves her Boo Energy experiments. Pharaok (135)
Boo-Power Battery "Mikroo" Inspired by Glups's attempt to eat a battery, the Boo-Power Battery was invented to recharge both Fury and Krush after their Boo Energy was drained by Mikroo. Mikroo 169
Glowboo "Sharkoak" While technically a character, Glowboo is an artificial intelligence powered by Boo Energy. He was designed by Carpenter. Creepop 145
Glowboo's recharge station A large chamber that is used to recharge Glowboo with Solarboo's Boo Energy. Kaboom 091

Unnamed teleportation device A teleportation device for the Ghostforce to enter the training simulation room. It is also used to transfer another Boo Technology gadget into an active medallion so the wearer can retrieve it during a mission. Scream Scratch 241
Unnamed spectral sound amplifier A small device that can increase sound by placing it onto a musical instrument. Myst used it to weaken Mastaar and snap everyone out of the ghost's trance. When she placed the amplifier onto her guitar, it changed the instrument's physical appearance into a Ghostforce theme. Mastaar 205
Viseo-Ghost "Zipzap" A head-mounted device that blocks the wearer's vision, but allows Miss Jones to see through its camera. It was used by Krush to prevent Zipzap from hypnotizing Miss Jones via video from her computer in the lab. At least two versions of the Viseo-Ghost are currently being displayed in the training room. Zipzap 202
Boo Map "Artiflame" A map that can detect Boo Energy signature in Manhattan. It is currently being installed onto the supercomputer, the Ghostforce armor, and the Ghost Car. Mascarade 097
Freonic Ghost Blaster "Jellystery" A large blaster that can freeze the wielder's targets. However, the temperature setting can also be reversed to create a heat blaster to melt ice. Jellystery 036
