Mike: Hey, Liv! What up? Where's Andy?
Liv: Guess what? (She gets off the rail and starts walking with Mike to school.) He's already at school.
Mike: Really? Andy? At school?
Liv: Yeah! He said he was going to school early to put the final touches on our project!
(Mike reacts out of happiness.)
Mike: Yes! Finally! He's starting to listen! I knew I'd get Andy back on the path to success!
(Andy throws the basketball and scores a hoop. Liv and Mike watch their friend from outside the courtyard, both feeling annoyed by Andy lying to them.)
Liv: Finally listening to you, huh?
Mike: One can always hope.
(Andy walks towards Drake and starts bragging at him.)
Andy: Ha, ha! Give up yet? 80-73 in your face!
Drake: Rematch after class!
(Drake shoves Andy out of his way, but Andy chuckles in amusement. He walks to where his friends are watching him, while holding the basketball.)
Andy: See that? Did you check out that raw power? (Liv and Mike both walk away from the courtyard and head to the school, ignoring him.) Hey! Wait up! Come on! Seriously?
(Andy grabs his skateboard and follows them.)
Roland: Hold up, Mikey, you don't want your usual, anchovy, soda bread, chocolate syrup, wasabi mustard tea, and a silver of bitter orange? 100% phosphorus!
Mike: Nah, forget about it, Roland. It's for our science project. It's due this morning. (He and Liv both glance at Andy.) Right, Andy? (Andy does a sheepish laugh. Mike looks back to Roland.) Let's go for a Bananice! (Roland becomes disappointed since he almost finished working on Mike's usual order, only for Mike wanting a Bananice popsicle instead. But he gives one to him anyway.) Thanks.
(Mike pays up Roland with a single dollar bill. The main trio walk away to get inside the school.)
Andy, Liv, and Mike: Catch you later, Roland!
Roland: Yeah, have a good one, kids!
Drake: Andy Baker!
(The main trio all stop walking when they hear Drake's voice.)
Andy: Drake Miller.
(Andy looks behind him and see Drake and Bobby.)
Drake: I think you've got something that's mine.
(Andy smugly spins the basketball onto his fingertip.)
Andy: You're talking about this? (He tosses the basketball to Drake.) Catch!
(Drake is about to catch the basketball, but Bobby jumps in front in him, attempting to catch it.)
Bobby: I got it, I got it!
(The basketball bounces off of Bobby's face.)
Drake: Huh?
(The basketball lands in the alleyway near the school, hitting a fridge which awakens Freezofear. Back at the school, Andy is about to head inside when the school bell rings to alert the students that they have to be in class.)
Andy: Later, Drake! Don't want to be late for class!
Drake: Argh! Bobby! Do something! (But Bobby is very ditzy after the basketball bounced off his face earlier) Grr!
(Drake and Bobby both look up at the metal gate blocking the way.)
Drake: Yo! Yo! Give me a hand, will ya! (Bobby lifts Drake above the gate and the latter enters the alleyway. He grabs the basketball, but then he sees the fridge next to him glowing.) Aaah!
(Freezofear freezes Drake on the spot.)
Bobby: Drake?
(Bobby sees Drake's frozen body, but he didn't see Freezofear the ghost bounces away and heads to the school.)
Mike: For the science project, today we'll demonstrate the power of an abundant ecological force that is often underestimated.
(Mike pulls the Bananice popsicle out of its wrapper and shows it to the class, who're all unimpressed.)
Rajat: A banana?
(The class all laugh at Rajat's joke.)
Mike: No, Rajat! (He hands the popsicle to Andy. Andy is puzzled, but Mike gestures him to put the popsicle on the test tube clamp.) This banana is simply a teaching tool to show you in a concise, unique way the power that is at the core of this demonstration. (Andy places the popsicle onto the test tube clamp.) I give you...
(Mike and Liv both point at the open window where the sun is shining through.)
Liv and Mike: The sun!
(Andy, realizing that he's unfocused, points at the sun.)
Andy: The sun!
(The class then hear Bobby screaming outside.)
Bobby: Aaah! (He enters the classroom, holding Drake who's still frozen.) Somebody help me!
(Professor Pascal wakes up from his nap.)
Professor Pascal: Huh? What's going on? Oh! Children! (He walks to where Bobby and Drake are. He examines the frozen Drake) Oh, this is fascinating. A rare phenomenon of spontaneous flash freeze!
Andy: Amazing! Another frozen banana!
Professor Pascal: Oh, but of course, Andy! Ha, ha! Let us use your device to unthaw your classmate!
Andy: You got it, sir! (He whispers to his sister.) Uh! Liv?
(Liv does an annoyed pout. But she grabs two magnifying glasses and uses the beam of the sun's light to unthaw Drake.)
Andy: That's actually pretty cool!
(Liv manages to unthaw parts of Drake.)
Students: Yeah!
(Drake is eventually unthawed, but he's still in the same state he was when Freezofear froze him.)
Drake: Aaah! (He realizes that he's in the classroom and not in the alleyway anymore.) Huh?
(The students all laugh at Drake's outburst. Mike and Andy look at each other with suspicion. While the students are still laughing at Drake, Freezofear enters the classroom and sees the Bananice popsicle. The ghost, feeling hungry, flies to where the popsicle is and is about to eat it, but Andy manages to grab it before he takes one bite.)
Andy: Yo! That's my Bananice! Don't touch! I said it's mine!
(Freezofear angrily charges towards the popsicle, but Andy, still holding onto the frozen dessert, manages to move out of the way and the ghost instead phases through Rajat, freezing him into an ice statue. The entire class notice the frozen Rajat and they all scream in horror, realizing that a ghost is behind it. Professor Pascal and his students, except the main trio, all run out of the classroom while continuing to scream. Bobby is holding onto Rajat's frozen body while running away. Back in the classroom, Andy is trying to dodge Freezofear while still holding onto the popsicle.)
Andy: Whoa! Hey.
(Andy is about to run, but he trips into the ground after stepping onto his untie shoelace. He looks up and sees Freezofear glaring at him, making him whimper in fear)
Liv: Hey, snowball! (She puts her right foot onto the chair while holding onto her magnifying glasses.) Paws off my brother!
(The sun's light reflects onto the rim of one of the magnifying glasses and beams onto Freezofear. Freezofear becomes paralyzed by the heat source which distracts him from chasing after Andy. Andy, seeing Freezofear distracted, runs off and finds a place to hide while Liv continues beaming the sun's light to Freezofear. The ghost flies off and heads to a cupboard. Liv chases after him and opens the cabinet door, but she can't find the ghost. She stands up and happens to find Freezofear inside a chemical flask. She then runs off since it's now Freezofear's turn to chasing her. She gets onto a desk and continues trying to reflect the sunbeam to the ghost to weaken him. While she's doing that, Mike and Andy are hiding behind Professor Pascal's desk. Mike calls Miss Jones.)
Mike: Miss Jones, did you see that?
Miss Jones: See what? Oh, you mean the ghost. We're dealing with a level six, ice-class phantom called "Freezofear". It's attacks can be dangerous, nothing irreversible in its current state. But it must not ingest any solidified, cryogenic protein under any circumstances or its powers will be amplified!
Andy and Mike: What?
Miss Jones: Basically, don't let it eat anything frozen.
Andy: Yeah, no risk of that! The only thing cold is this-
(Andy and Mike both scream in horror when they see Freezofear has been eating the popsicle while they're listening to Miss Jones.)
Andy and Mike: Aaah!
(Andy tries to shake Freezofear to get it off the popsicle, but it's too late. The ghost swallows the entire popsicle and has switched to booster mode known as Bananice. Bananice lets a huge roar towards the main trio and blasts out large ice crystals everywhere in the classroom. Unbeknownst to the ghost, the main trio manage to hide behind a cart and prevent themselves from being frozen by him. Andy lets out a chuckle, but Liv shushes her brother so the ghost won't hear them. Bananice, thinking he managed to freeze the main trio, leaves the classroom and heads outside, leaving a large patch of ice crystals after phasing through the classroom wall.)
Andy: Looks like we're in for some spine-chilling weather.
Liv: Then we'd better put that ghost on ice!
Mike: Let's go, Ghostforce!
Fury: Huh? I'm freezing my butt off! What's up with these suits? This thing have a temperature dial or something? (He presses a button on his suit and which turns on the heat inside.) Ah! There it is. Nice!
(Krush turns on his ghost tracker from his suit and sees where's Bananice was heading.)
Krush: This way!
(The main trio follow the path and see various people and objects being frozen on their way.)
Myst: Oh, no! Mr. Pascal!
(The main trio comes to a halt upon seeing a large patch of ice crystal on the side of a building.)
Fury: Rats! Now what? All right, listen up, team. Here's the plan!
(Myst and Krush both split up, ignoring Fury.)
Krush: I'm gonna test the sample.
Myst: I'm gonna check the building. (She looks inside the building.) Nothing. It's empty!
Krush: Let the pro handle it! (He collects a sample of the ice and starts analyzing it.) Oh, interesting! An inverted triple ectoplasmic phase, traces of potassium, isomorph acetate... I knew it! (Fury grabs a chunk of the ice and starts eating it.) This is an amazing discovery! It's... it's...
Fury:' Banana ice cream! Delish!
(Krush, still mad at Fury for not putting as much as an effort for their science project earlier, glares at him.)
Krush: (sarcastically) Thanks, Andy.
Fury: No worries, bud!
(Myst notices something behind the boys, but they're too busy arguing.)
Myst: Uh, guys?
Fury: Want some?
Myst: Guys...
Krush: I'd rather not. I had a healthy breakfast.
(Krush and Fury growls at each other.)
Myst: Guys!
Krush and Fury: What?
(Myst points up and the boys finally turn around to see Bananice is staring at them from above.)
Bananice: Boo! (The main trio flies away as the ghost starts chasing them.) Roar!
(Krush pulls out his Fractal Mace and hits Bananice with it, sending him flying to another building. Krush kisses his Double Hammer, but Bananice jumps down from above and knocks him off the building roof he's standing on. Krush crashes into a water tower and lets out a cough.)
Krush: He's really strong.
Fury: Hold up! The MVP is here! (Fury pulls out his Flexy Beam and flies to where Bananice is.) Time for a bananice split! (He's about to slice the ghost with his Katablast, but Bananice grabs it with his hands.) Or not.
(Bananice chuckles.)
Myst: Fury! (She flies to where Bananice and Fury are.) Spectral Gate!
(Myst opens a portal underneath Bananice, teleporting him somewhere else in Manhattan.)
Bananice: Aaah! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! (He lands onto the street. But when he looks up, he is surprised to see a Bananice popsicle brand truck right in front of him.) Huh?
(The truck driver, frightened to see the ghost, gets inside his truck to drive away as fast as possible.)
Truck driver: Oh! Aaah! Aaah!
(The main trio see what's going to happen in front of them.)
Fury: Don't open that truck!
(But it's too late. Bananice opens the back of the truck and sees many boxes full of Bananice popsicles. The truck driver gets out of his truck and runs off before the ghost lifts the entire truck and starts eating all the popsicles inside, including the boxes.)
Truck driver: Aaah!
Fury, Krush, and Myst: Waaah!
(After eating the final popsicle inside the truck, Bananice summons a giant ice blast all over Manhattan. Once again, the main trio manage to hide and prevent themselves from being frozen by the blast.)
Fury: This banana has lost its appeal! After him!
(The main trio follow Bananice to the Empire State Building, but the ghost fires out banana mush at them.)
Krush: Whoa!
(The main trio dodge the mush and hides behind another building.)
Fury: I think this banana has gone bad!
Krush: It's up to something.
(The main trio see Bananice lets out a large roar and fires a large cyclone up into the sky, creating a snowstorm all over the city.)
Fury, Krush, and Myst: What?
Myst: Oh, no! If we can't fix this...
Krush: The entire world is heading straight to a new Ice Age! A Bananaice Age!
Fury: (sarcastically) Is that your next science project? (He suddenly has an idea.) Science project? That's it! Myst, you punch a hole in these clouds. Krush, you deal with the loop!
Krush: Oh! You mean the convergence effect?
Fury: Same setup as our science project, but way bigger! And I'll set the stage! (He flies in front of Bananice to begin distracting him.) Yo, big banana! Ever slip on your own peel? Looks like you fell off the banana tree and hit every branch on the way down!
(Angered by Fury's teasing, Bananice roars and starts attacking him. But Fury uses his Flexural Force and ties Bananice around the roof of the Empire State Building to prevent him from getting away. Up above them, Myst and Krush are about to initiating Fury's plan.)
Myst: Krush, you ready?
Krush: Fractal power!
(Krush slams down his fist into the air and creates a large chunk of ice like a giant magnifying glass.)
Myst: Spectral arrow! (She fires her spectral arrow into the cloud and causes a large hole where the sunlight is beaming down into the large chunk of ice.)
Fury: Let's fry this banana!
(The sun beams down through the large ice chunk and paralyzes Bananice, weakening him back into Freezofear which allows Fury to capture him in his Boo Cap. With Freezofear's capture, everything the ghost froze starts to unthawed. This includes Professor Pascal and his dog Asta.)
Fury, Krush, and Myst: Boo-yah!
Miss Jones: Great job, guys.
(Miss Jones takes a bite on her popsicle.)
Andy, Liv, and Mike: Thanks, Miss Jones!
(Behind the main trio, Drake is heading out of school, holding his basketball.)
Mike: You see, Andy? The knowledge you gain in class can be practical in real life.
Andy: What was that again, Mike? Sorry, wasn't listening!
Mike: I was saying-
(Andy ignores Mike and sees Drake.)
Andy: Yo, Drake! (He steals Drake's basketball.) Payback time!
(Mike and Liv both facepalm as Andy and Drake are about to have their basketball rematch in the courtyard again.)
